Refund Policy

How to Refund Your Contribution.

Refunds: 

Backers contribute to campaign owners, not to appreciate-me.

You can withdraw or change the amount paid during the Campaign, within 5 working days from the payment but no later than 48 hours before the end of the campaign. In this situation, the contributors will send a written request to the appreciate-me at email address: contact@appreciate-me.com, in which the Contributors will expressly request the modification or return the amount paid. The contributors will attach, upon request, proof of payment of this amount of money for the project. The contributors understand and accept that from the amount that will be refunded, the bank transfer fees will be withheld. To avoid any doubts, given that the funds have been withdrawn by the campaign owner, any withdrawal or modification of the amount paid can no longer be made through the platform. 

If the campaign has ended and appreciate-me has disbursed funds to the campaign owner, refund requests must be directed to the campaign owner and handled in accordance with their separate refund/return policy.  appreciate-me is not responsible for refunds outside of our Refund Policy and you should work directly with the campaign owner to resolve the refund request and the method of refund.  

appreciate-me reserves the right to terminate user accounts and remove campaigns for any abuse of this Refund Policy. In the event that appreciate-me has found a campaign violates the Terms of Use and appreciate-me still has the campaign’s funds, we may at any time take action we deem appropriate, in our sole discretion, including but not limited to, issuing refunds to backers from the campaign’s funds.

 

I canceled my credit card I used to make my original contribution. How will I get my refund?

Your refund will still be sent back to the issuer of your original credit card and the bank will determine the best method of remitting the balance to you. The issuing bank will determine how to get the funds to you, so please contact them directly.

 

 

I haven't seen the refund credited to my credit card, what should I do?

If you processed a refund through your appreciate-me account, and have not yet seen the refund as a credit on your credit card statement within five (5) business days, please contact us here.

 

I received my Reward, but I am not satisfied. What do I do?

appreciate-me is not responsible for refunds outside of our Refund Policy and you should work directly with the campaign owner to resolve your concerns about your perk(s).
